What is Edinter?
In the traditional language
of the European wanderers, this sign means "This is a good
path to follow".
Edinter
now:
Edinter is a prototype under development. In the first
pilot phase in 2001 and 2002, we experimented this online course
as a new modality of on-the-job learning for professionals working
in development cooperation.
Vision:
The
new information and communication technologies can improve and
reshape our ways of communicating, learning and working. While
they are a new frontier for the corporate sector in the rich
countries, they can also serve the struggle against poverty and
support civil society movements. They can contribute to deepening
or to reducing the gap between North and South. They could never
be more, however, than a mere supplementary means for promoting,
and fighting for, more fairness, solidarity and equity in the
world.
